Distracting Thoughtforms main page, Exploring Ascension, Sananda and Ascended Masters

On the page called 'Sananda and the Ascended Masters' you can find quite a lot of material from the SSOA which describes the Ascended Masters as false beings of light. They would have a hidden agenda behind all their kind words of love and light. They would try to fool people into some kind of false ascension thereby taking of their energy, their chi and records.

I haven't encountered any ascended master lately, and to be honest, I have never had contact with any of them, except through their articles which can be found all over the internet and in some books. And if you read these articles it isn't all that easy to read between the lines. I tend to think that the SSOA has given me a lot of equipment to activate my personal ascension process. A while ago I used to doubt if there was any process at all going on, or if I was making it up myself. That has changed however over the last couple of months (since the end of 2004). Too many things have happened to simply be discarded.

It is for this reason that I give other aspects of the 'SSOA-paradigm' the benefit of the doubt. It has proven to be very helpful and constructive for me so far. It could very well be that the ascended masters are those lovely beings they say they are and that the SSOA is on the wrong track, but you have to make some decisions, and based on my experience with the SSOA I work with the hypothesis to distrust everything that has an ascended-masters signature.

I would like to find more basis for this distrust based on the contents of some of their messages. What teachings are presented? How would these teachings hamper the ascension process? I hope to build a few pages on these topics in this 'distracting-thought-forms'-section in the future.
