Distracting thought-forms: Acception of Christ

Why Use Son of God Concept? (Bridge Project)

Like I already said on the 'biblical-terminology-page' I have found that the concept of Christ is rather distracting for me. This doesn't mean that I have turned into some kind of anti-christ or something. It just means that the way Jesus Christ was formed by the churches is not conducive for my ascension process. Of course I think Jesus Christ was a special person with great ideas, but I don't want to accept the necessity to embrace Jesus Christ in order to progress spiritually.

There are a lot of people who think that somehow when Christ was killed he did something to humanity which removed a lot of 'sins' from the collective (un)conscious. You only need to allow Christ into your body and soul and you would be relieved of all the sins humanity has committed. Well, this kind of thinking goes against the core of the ascension system that I feel comfortable with.

The main reason to object against such an 'accept Christ and your sins will be forgiven' is that ascension implies the gradual removal of karma from the lineages you are carrying with you. This would mean a slow process in which you either understand and forgive or live out the karma in order to balance the scales. By removing the karmic load you rise a bit in frequency (see the radio-metaphor) and you can enter a different set of tones.

Another objection to the 'accept Christ into your life'-thoughtform is that you give your power away to some outside source. It doesn't matter if the outside source is some ascended master or Jesus Christ, where you may never know for sure if that 'entity' or 'Christ-energy' really is associated with Jesus Christ, or with some other source which needs your permission in order to take your chi/records. So, everyone is of course free to allow any source into their system, but I prefer to keep it to my own source, my own soul and rise in frequency slowly by transforming thoughtforms and karmic history.

The importance of the gradual removal of karmic 'mud' from your lineages is that this removal leads to more clarity and in order to resonate with this higher level of clarity your biology would need to adapt. This would be a slow process as well. If you embrace the 'Christ'-hypothesis all of your sins are forgiven. In ascension-terminology this would mean that all karmic-history would be cleared by a snap of Jesus' fingers and the amount of clarity that would shine through would have to change your biology in an instant as well. Imagine how this must look like: all of a sudden you would have a buddha-belly, you would have this thymus-gland grown from your heart all the way to your brainstem, you would have your heart extended from 4 to 8 ventricles. I guess your body wouldn't be able to handle that. This is another reason why I object to the 'you must allow the Christ or the Christ-energy into your system in order to ascend'.

If that weren't enough, there is also the implicit approval of many of the things that are written in the bible. If you believe in Christ as the savior then you get a nice package of other ideas along with it for free. Think about the concept of the biblical god and the devil, demons and angels, the chosen people, the concept of the original sin, judgment day, heaven and hell. Depending on the various christian groups that have formed themselves during the last millenia some of these concepts are or are not embraced. What I want to stress is that it might not really be clear what you embrace or not when you ask Christ to be a part of your system.

Please understand that I really think everybody is free to have faith in whatever they want. I have noticed that for me, personally, the concept of Christ as the savior of mankind has proven to be distracting for my own ascension process.

This is ofcourse something troublesome in some way. I mean, the concept of Christ as the savior is held very strong in the system of many people. If this ascension phenomenon would turn out to be carrying some truth in it, that would imply that it would be complicated to bridge the christian world view with the ascension world view.

There are some sources on the internet which seem to jump into this gap. These sources speak of ascension of humanity and they speak of the Christ-energy. Perhaps they produce a bridge, perhaps not. I cannot tell because I find their approach too Christian and therefore too difficult to translate into the terminology I have grown comfortable with.

In March 2005 I was contacted by someone who liked the idea to attempt to bridge the christian perspective and the ascension perspective. This led to the formation of a section in which we try to see how some kind of bridge could be built. You can take a look at the progress we have made so far by clicking at the title of that section: Trying to bridge Christian and Ascension Perspectives.
